Clark Stan

Coach Clark has been wrestling since 2012, wrestling in the high school and collegiate level. He
graduated from Hall High School and wrestled for the Wrestling Club at the University of
Connecticut (UConn), where he was a part of their most dominant season in club history,
finishing second in the Northeast and 10th in the country as a team. While at UConn, Clark
himself placed in the Northeast Regional tournament in 2019 and won the Nutmeg State Games in 2018. Fast forward 5 years, Coach Clark is now the Head Coach for the Wrestling Club at the University of Connecticut and owner of Shark-Style Wrestling in Tolland, CT.

Clark is also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple Belt and active competitor under John Gagne. Clark
always preaches a work hard, play hard approach, where he wants to empower his students,
develop good work ethic, while making sure his students are having fun at the same time. When he is not coaching, Clark works full-time as an engineer and has a degree in Chemical
Engineering.
